How to connect

Registration will be completed in a few minutes; the phone will display the last four digits of the plastic number and the same number of digits of the digital code - a token that ensures the security of transactions. From now on, the smartphone can be used as a tool for making payments. Adding additional cards is done by clicking the add icon and repeating all the steps described.

Important: you can add no more than ten different cards to one smartphone. If you want to pay for your purchase, you must select the one you need. By default, funds will be debited from the card that was added last.

How to launch the application

There are several options available to launch the application: swipe up from the bottom edge of the phone on the lock screen; on the home screen; screen in sleep mode; or simply click on the application icon.

Smartphones that will be released later than the launch date of Samsung Pay in Russia will be equipped with technology from the manufacturer, provided that they have NFC modules and MST. And on previously released phones, the Samsung Pay service will become available after the update operating system.

Set up a verification method that is convenient for you (by fingerprint, iris or application PIN code) to confirm payments.

  1. How to add a card to Samsung Pay on a smartphone?
  2. Scan the card using your smartphone camera (or enter its details manually). Accept the Bank's Terms of Service.
  3. Click on the SMS button to verify the Bank card holder. A one-time code will be sent via SMS to the phone number linked to your card at the Bank. Enter the code and click "Submit".

How to make a money transfer from card to card using Samsung Pay?

  1. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open Samsung Pay
  2. Select a card and click the “Money transfers” button
  3. Specify the recipient by phone number from the contact list or manually (or enter the recipient's full card number)
  4. Enter the transfer amount and message for the recipient
  5. Accept the Terms of Service of the Money Transfer Operator and confirm the transfer using your fingerprint, iris or app PIN code

When using the service for the first time, you must accept the Terms of Use of the Samsung Pay Money Transfer service, then confirm your phone number (using a one-time code via SMS).

The recipient does not need to be a Samsung Pay user.

The Samsung Pay money transfer service is available only on smartphones compatible with Samsung Pay. Transfers are made between Mastercard / Visa cards of Russian banks in rubles. To send a transfer, the smartphone must be connected to the Internet.

What does the Recipient need to do to accept a money transfer using Samsung Pay?

Receiving a money transfer sent using Samsung Pay to the card number (Mastercard or Visa) of the Recipient occurs automatically. To receive a transfer, your smartphone must be connected to the Internet.

    If the recipient is a registered user of Samsung Pay Money Transfers, he will receive a push notification about the transfer, upon opening which the recipient will select a card token added to Samsung Pay to receive the transfer.

    To receive transfers to this card automatically, you need to check “Use this card to receive transfers by default.” You can change the default receiving card in the “Money transfers” - “Settings” menu.

    If the Recipient has not added any payment card in Samsung Pay, when receiving the transfer, the application will offer to add the first card to Samsung Pay.

    If the recipient is not a Samsung Pay user, he will receive an SMS message from the Money Transfer Operator with a link, following which he will need to confirm his phone number and indicate the card number to receive.

    To receive transfers to this card automatically, on the transfer receipt confirmation web page, check the box “Remember the card, I agree to saving the data for subsequent transfers.”

    To change the card for receiving the transfer, click “Change card” on the confirmation page for receiving the transfer and enter the number of another card.

How can I view the history and status of money transfers?

To see the history of current and completed transfers, go to the “Money transfers” - “History” menu.

The transfer is displayed with the status “Incomplete” until it is accepted by the Recipient. After the Recipient confirms its acceptance, the transfer is displayed with the status “Sent” (or “Received” in Samsung Pay on the Recipient’s device). The waiting period for Recipient confirmation is up to 5 days.

Confirmation of the completed transfer will also be displayed in the Bank card account statement, in the Bank's SMS notification about transactions (if such a service is activated at the Bank for this card).

Can I cancel a money transfer sent to Samsung Pay?

Recipient confirmation is required to complete the transfer. In this case, the amount on the Sender’s card will be blocked until the Recipient confirms receipt of the transfer. The waiting period for Recipient confirmation is up to 5 days.

If the transfer is canceled by the Sender, or after the confirmation period has expired, the transfer will be canceled and the transfer amount will be returned to the Sender's card. You can check with the Bank that issued your card for information about the deadline for returning a canceled transfer.

After the Recipient confirms receipt of the transfer, the Sender will display this transfer in the “History” - “Completed” menu with the status “Sent”. It is not possible to cancel a completed transfer.

How to add club cards to Samsung Pay?

You can add barcoded club cards to Samsung Pay. Select on Home page“Club cards” and click “Add”. Then, select the club card you need from the list of cards, scan the card’s barcode or enter its data manually.

To use the added club card at the checkout, add it to the “Payment” section (in “Menu” - “Settings” - “ Fast access"), or select it from the "Club Cards" list. When you click on the “Tap to Use” field, the barcode and card number will be displayed on the screen. Present the barcode (or card number) on your smartphone screen to be scanned at the checkout.

Is it possible to select a financial product (loan, credit card or deposit) in Samsung Pay and submit an application for its processing?

How to add a bank card to your Google Pay phone

Before adding a card, make sure that NFC is active on your smartphone. Without it, contactless payment for purchases is impossible.

To use the G Pay service through the PlayMarket, a special application is downloaded and installed.

In practice, the value of Samsung Pay is found not in the features of the system itself, but in the relatively considerable capabilities of the manufacturer’s models. The first bank in Russia to start working with the Apple Pay service is Sberbank. A similar payment system is used in iPhone models, not lower than the sixth version and in other devices of the company. The disadvantages include the following indicators:

  • In the menu, go to “settings”, “about device” and select “software update”;
  • Click on “update” or “update manually”, after which it will check for a new software version; if there is one, it will be prompted to download it. If not, a corresponding message will appear.
  • Next, you need to accept the offer to download software updates and you will need to click on the “install” button.
  • The phone will turn on and off and the update will begin.

Important: You cannot turn off your smartphone during the software update process - it will be damaged. After the update, you need to reset the data for the phone to work normally. If this is not done, errors may occur during use.

Using a computer program

When updating software using the Smart Switch program, all steps are similar, only you first need to connect the phone to the computer and launch the program. Both devices also cannot be turned off during the boot process. You also need to reset the data at the end of the installation; the Smart Switch program has a function Reserve copy.
