Templates for business niches: photography. Templates for business niches: photography Portfolio Lite - minimalistic portfolio theme for creativity

A high-quality landing page for a photographer is an excellent option to introduce yourself, demonstrate your skills, and a subtle sense of style. This business niche is extremely competitive, so the sites must be perfect, able to intrigue the visitor with a “one shot”, motivating him to fill out a form or call.

As usual, we have selected several examples. Let’s conduct an analysis, try to understand the best “tricks”, as well as the most obvious mistakes of the developers.

Runet landing pages

First, let's look at the landing page of a studio providing services in the Moscow region. The landing page is already raising questions. Firstly, the choice of colors is questionable - transparent “backgrounds” for the text, pale yellow colors for the conversion buttons. There is nothing for the eye to grab onto; the background image attracts attention much more clearly.

Secondly, the main “trick” of the company, judging by the location/color of the words, is “free makeup and hair styling until July 31”! But this has already lost its relevance - August has come a long time ago! If you want to create an “urgency effect”, make sure that the offer is truly relevant - at least to reality :)

Thirdly, the intrusive offer of a free evening dress for the shoot. “Wait, I haven’t had time to look at the portfolio, evaluate the work, haven’t found out the cost, and they’re already giving me a dress,” are the reader’s likely thoughts.

Regarding the price, it’s also a plus. A good justification of the cost, a detailed description of the components of the “package”, and there is no feeling of overload with information.

We also took care of the responses. Here there is an attempt to demonstrate one’s own authority through media personalities, opinion leaders, but little known: a nutritionist for Instagram “stars”, a model, an aspiring singer, a blogger. Here you can see photos taken by the studio.

The photographer’s next landing page is frankly successful. A clear, brief offer that attracts attention because “you don’t have to wait for months” (masters of this craft usually “sin” by missing deadlines).

There’s a phone number, an email, and a “Order a photo shoot” button, unobtrusive but noticeable. Social network contacts are located above so that everyone can choose the type of communication that is convenient for them.

After the fold line there are several parts detailing the different types of services. Individual sessions, wedding, family photography. The author's photographs are presented in a slide show, but you can scroll through them yourself. Thus, the portfolio issue is resolved - everything is shown to the user right now.

The darkness is a little disconcerting, but the overall impression remains positive.

A price list is provided, as well as a detailed description of each sub-item of the offer.

The only downside is the lack of any social proof other than great illustrations. One can only guess that they are on social networks.

The third example from the TOP is designed rather poorly. For example, almost all the space is occupied by a photo of the page master/owner. There is no commercial idea, no feedback button, at the top in one line is the owner’s name, guidebook, phone number, email.

Next is “Where to start?”, but in reality this describes a cooperation plan for the client. The designer was clearly lazy, judge for yourself: there are very few points here, there is a vast empty space left, why wasn’t it leveled? No answer.

The social proof section is almost the only successful one here. Clicking on the couple’s names activates the image of the young couple, as well as the client’s response itself. Interesting solution.

You can see a website template for a photographer in our “Store”. Today there are several samples on display. Let's look at them.

That's what the first one is. The landing page is a collage of author’s illustrations, with the name and type of activity at the top. Below is the active, target button. The colors are bright, but not flashy. The reader first has the opportunity to look at the master’s works and become interested in them - this is the main task of the offer.

After the fold line there is a list of services. It is necessary to show the variety of choice of shooting types.

The next material is about the photographer. Describing your USP, plus briefly talking about yourself, is very important to strengthen the trust of a potential client. You can customize all blocks at your discretion

In recent years, the development of the digital photo market has demonstrated rapid growth in sales worldwide. Russia was no exception. The availability of advanced photographic equipment and social networks has created an entire army of photographers.

Of course, we can talk for a long time about the professionalism of many photographers, but this article is not about that at all. I will only note that it is demand that creates supply. And I can only assume that the majority are satisfied with receiving a not very high-quality service for little money. Which is completely justified and logical in market conditions.

As a photographer’s professionalism grows, he definitely thinks about creating his own personal website, with examples of work, contact information, a calendar of its availability, and so on. With a large number of clients, having a website is a production necessity that will significantly simplify the life of a photographer.

A photo site should be, at a minimum, stylish and artistic, it should emphasize the professionalism of the photographer, and not vice versa. The site should evoke delight, admiration and desire in the visitor to use the services of this particular photographer. You must understand that developing such a site is an expensive proposition. But not everything is so sad! Thanks to WordPress and premium templates, you can reduce your costs for developing a photography website tenfold. Don't believe me?

Today I present another fresh batch of premium templates. This time the templates are aimed at photographers' websites, photo websites, photo portfolios, photo blogs, photo studios, etc. All the presented templates are incredibly beautiful and modern. A site with such a template will open without problems on any desktop or mobile device.

This cute template will definitely not disappoint you if you decide to build your online photography project around it. And there are several reasons for this. First of all, you won't have to deal with any code and can simply drag and drop the components you need onto the pages you need using the Elementor builder. You will also have the opportunity to work with four blog layouts, different footer types, mega menus and Google fonts

And one more unusual template that will definitely attract the attention of very, very many photography fans. It includes seven blog layouts and ten post options. If the user needs to find some necessary information, he can always use a simple Cherry search. In addition, you will definitely be pleased with the availability of fashionable Google fonts.

Melissa is a great template that I recommend anyone into photography to check out. Its design is made in black and white, which means that your online project will definitely stand out from the rest. It is also worth mentioning that everyone will have the opportunity to work with ready-made pages that allow you to present customer reviews, contact information and portfolio. And don’t forget that the Elementor builder will help you work with content even if you don’t understand code.

If you don't like designs that are filled with a lot of unnecessary details, then you should take a closer look at this minimalistic template. To begin with, I want to say that you will be able to customize content in visual mode. Plus, you will have the opportunity to present the most important and impactful information using Revolution Slider. And if you dream that the whole world will know about your talent, you can translate the site into several languages.

What, in the grand scheme of things, makes a simple photographer's website stand out? To display your photos, the first thing you need is a WordPress theme: the best themes draw attention to the images on the site, without being cluttered with unnecessary features or fussy complexity.

Not all WordPress themes are equal in content. Just like choosing a camera and lens to shoot with, a photographer's website is an important creative factor: the way you present yourself online sets the tone for how people will perceive your photos. In a discussion about photographers' threads on the Envato community forum, Norris said:

I urge you to kindly avoid treating multi-purpose themes as "photographic". Spreading this all over the internet only hurts photographers and ultimately the entire WordPress community.
