But first of all, lovers of an active lifestyle buy protected smartphones, because in conditions of travel and water sports, a protected smartphone will not break and will continue to function as if nothing had happened if it falls on the ground, in the sand, or even in water. That is why the declared dust and moisture protection and shock resistance are so important, although many users cannot imagine why such a brutal case would be necessary for an ordinary gadget. Speaking of ordinary users, even more and more people prefer secure devices, no matter how you look at them, and brutality also adds to the style, because you won’t surprise anyone with a fashionable iPhone. Be that as it may, in 2016, gadgets not only received a protective case and very mediocre characteristics: manufacturers re-realized that the niche of rugged phones could be explored even better. But still, this is a modest entry-level device and the main advantage here is the IP67 standard, which allows you to briefly immerse the device in water without any consequences. But this is the most modest gadget in this TOP; then we will look at much more interesting smartphones, however, they are not cheap. On the other hand, this is probably the most compact rugged smartphone.

It’s strange, of course, but even this resolution is still reluctantly used by manufacturers in this segment. But the most notable feature of the smartphone is not its display or performance. The key advantage is that in addition to the main camera, there is an additional thermal imaging camera. A thermal imager is a godsend for an engineer, but the gadget also costs more than all the others.

Kyocera

Despite the fact that there is little comparable to the previous device, secure smartphones are in demand mainly among lovers of active “leisure”. And Kyocera DuraForce Pro is able to provide not only the IP68 standard and not only attractive characteristics, but also the photo capabilities that everyone who is associated with an active lifestyle needs. So far, this is the only smartphone in the world equipped with a wide-angle full-length camera, which is located next to the main photo module.
