How to retrieve Google Chrome passwords?

But how do you store new passwords, which are recommended to consist of long strings of random small and uppercase letters? Each entry represents a virtual key, hence the name of the system program. When you visit a page, the corresponding fields are automatically filled in the input mask. I want to warn you. If you copy the "Login Data" file from another computer and try to open passwords on your computer using a browser password manager, you will be disappointed. The fields where passwords should be will be empty or a message will be displayed that this may not be your profile.

What data is stored?

The installation of the software is simple and does not leave the old standard of the next next completion. In order to see the location of the profile of a specific browser, you need to go to its menu and click on the “About” item.

On the page that opens, among the information about the browser, look for the “Paths” section. Here, opposite the “Profile” value, the path we need is indicated.

Copy it and paste it into the address bar of Windows Explorer.

After going to the directory, it’s easy to find the Login Data file we need, which stores the passwords displayed in Opera.

You can even open this file using a text editor, such as the standard Windows Notepad, but this will not bring much benefit since the data is an encoded SQL table.

However, if you physically delete the Login Data file, then all passwords stored in Opera will be destroyed.

It must be remembered that saving passwords is a very convenient tool, but such methods of storing confidential data pose a certain danger in terms of protecting information from intruders.

The best place to save passwords is in your own head. I don’t even dispute this golden rule. Every year there are more and more accounts, but there is less and less space in my head.
