Apparently, Xiaomi has decided to update its fitness devices every six months. Each of them makes a splash, and each time the company only increases its sales. Last year, Mi Band became the best-selling smart fitness accessory. We wrote about and about. It's time to tell your impressions of the second generation device - Mi Band 2.

Characteristics of Xiaomi Mi Band 2

  • Capsule materials: polycarbonate, plastic.
  • Bracelet materials: thermoplastic silicone vulcanized.
  • Housing protection class: IP67.
  • Functions: heart rate measurement, pedometer, distance and calories burned, sleep monitoring, smart alarm clock, call notifications, tablet/smartphone unlocking.
  • Sensors: three-axis accelerometer, optical heart rate monitor.
  • Indication: monochrome OLED display with a diagonal of 0.42 inches, vibration motor.
  • Battery: built-in lithium-polymer with a capacity of 70 mAh.
  • Autonomous operation: up to 20 days.
  • Wireless: Bluetooth 4.0 LE.
  • Operating temperature: –20 to +70 °C.
  • Dimensions: 40.3 x 15.7 x 10.5 mm.
  • Weight: 7 g.
  • Compatibility: iOS 7 / Android 4.3.
  • Delivery set: module, bracelet, charging cable.

The new product differs from other Xiaomi fitness bracelets by the presence of an OLED screen and a touch button. The bracelet consists of two parts - a plastic capsule and a strap. The module has become larger. The weight has also increased, although it is not felt. Basic functionality not related to the screen has remained virtually unchanged, as have the requirements for the smartphone with which the device will work in tandem.

Appearance and delivery set

The line's traditional cardboard box contains the Mi Band 2 module, a bracelet, instructions in Chinese and a charger.

The main module has undergone significant changes. The top panel is now occupied by an OLED display and a touch-sensitive button. Due to the matrix used, the image on the screen is perfectly readable in the sun and does not dazzle in the dark. The display is dark most of the time and turns on only when necessary: when you press a button, receive an alert, or need to look at your watch (read below for how to do this without touching the device). The button is capacitive and does not respond to third-party objects. The entire panel is now flat.

In addition to the appearance of the screen and the button embedded in it, there are other external changes. So, Xiaomi Mi Band 2 uses a new heart rate monitor - this can be seen upon closer inspection. There is less light from the sensors, the LEDs are located differently. But most importantly, the heart rate monitor window is now located in the fairing, which rises above the module by almost 1.5 mm.

The strap has also changed. It is now adjustable between 155mm and 210mm, with a total length of 235mm. The module of the first version was inserted from the outside and periodically fell out. In the new design, the functional capsule can only be inserted from the inside (from the arm side). In addition, the capsule does not protrude; on the contrary, the edges of the notch in the bracelet rise above it, protecting the screen. This corrects two of the most serious design flaws - no more scratches and no loss!

Since the updated device is significantly larger than the first model, certain problems arise during use. For example, a child can no longer wear it. On a miniature female hand, the Mi Band 2 bracelet looks bulky and can be too big.

Due to its increased dimensions, the device can often hit something. Only a durable bracelet can save you.

Following the changed dimensions of the capsule, the charger also changed. It became deeper and wider, the charging pins became longer. An old charger will not work. Installing Mi Band 1 or 1s into the slot for the second model is more realistic, but only with the use of some kind of spacers to ensure contact between the charging contacts and the module.

Functionality

Unlike previous versions, the new product can work offline or through an application. However, the general set of functions has remained virtually unchanged.

The bracelet can still monitor activity, heart rate, count calories, steps, distance, and also track sleep phases. The pedometer of the new product is improved and, according to the manufacturer, more accurate. The difference in readings between Mi Band 1s and Mi Band 2 reaches 10–15%. The device no longer responds to simple hand waves.

Since the update also affected the heart rate monitor, we can also expect an increase in accuracy here. The error during testing did not exceed 5%.

Alerts work to the same extent, but their range depends on the application used. When receiving calls and SMS, the bracelet vibrates. When notified by an application, a double vibration occurs and the App icon is displayed.

Like previous models, Xiaomi Mi Band 2 can unlock a paired smartphone via Bluetooth if both devices are within range of the interface. In fact, unlocking works at distances not exceeding 5 m.

The bracelet is capable of operating in difficult temperature conditions from +70 to −20 °C. In case of hypothermia, battery life will be reduced to 128 hours. Xiaomi Mi Band 2 can withstand a fall onto a hard surface from a height of 1.2 m.

Offline mode: screen and gesture capabilities

Mi Band 2 displays the most significant information on the screen: time, number of steps taken, heart rate. A touch button is used for display. The first press on it turns on the clock. On the second press, the gadget shows the number of steps. By the third, a heart is displayed on the screen and the pulse measurement starts, or its value is shown if the pulse has changed during the last minute. If you do not tap the button after the measurement has been taken and wait until the screen turns off, then the first time you touch the button, not the time, but the heart rate value will be displayed. The same will happen with step statistics.

All data is updated using built-in sensors. The device only needs to sync with your smartphone if the battery is low. If you charge the Mi Band 2 on time, you can use the smartphone and the application very rarely, and then only to view statistics.

The time display function is very conveniently implemented. To recognize it, just turn your hand sharply - the screen wakes up and shows the time, regardless of the last type of data viewed. This works even when typing on the keyboard with your hand on the table. There is no need to tear it off the surface; it always works.

Applications and Compatibility

As before, the functionality of the device depends on the selected application. Pedometer, distance traveled, sleep tracking and detailed statistics are present in versions of the program for any device and market.

The iOS application has not been tested. But with the Android versions, things are not the best. Now the official application on Google Play works with any Mi Band, smart scales and two types of sneakers, just like the Chinese application. There is also unlocking of the smartphone using a bracelet. When it's nearby and paired with your phone via Bluetooth, you don't need to enter a password. However, it does not have a running function, but it does have synchronization with MyFitnessPal and Google Fit.

The official Chinese version of the application, distributed through the MIUI OS proprietary store, cannot synchronize with other applications. But there is a running mode, activated by a special button, as well as a voice assistant for the running mode (in the amateur build it is translated). And, according to some reports, it is possible to build a track for a walk or jog (this point has not been verified).

All official applications allow you to set up alerts (for Android 4.4 and higher and iOS) about incoming calls and notifications from three applications to choose from. When there is a call, the device vibrates twice, pauses and continues the cycle while the call is in progress (by the way, you can set a delay from the start of the call so as not to experience unnecessary discomfort).

The new Mi Fit app can vibrate to remind the user to move throughout the day.

Unfortunately, starting from version Mi Fit 2.0, the smart alarm clock has disappeared from the application. Even if it appears, it still doesn’t work. Therefore, if this feature is important to you, it is better to use previous versions or amateur builds.

There are also ones for working with Mi Band. Each of them has its own pros and cons, try them out and choose the most suitable one.

Autonomy

Despite the fact that the bracelet arrived in a whole plastic package, the battery was charged. According to the application, the gadget was charged 29 days ago. With the screen turned off, it lasted for 29 days.

After two days of active testing (3–5 synchronizations, up to 20 heart rate measurements, an attempt to freeze, frequently turning on the screen, working as a clock), the battery charge level dropped to 16%. If you exercise often enough and wear the Mi Band 2 like a watch, the battery will last for 12-15 days (with more accurate sleep tracking enabled, which takes frequent heart rate measurements). With less active use, the device can last 20–30 days.

Testing in aggressive conditions

Despite the IP67 protection against water and dust declared by the manufacturer, users quite often complained about the Mi Band 1 and 1s due to leaks. The test unit perfectly survived hot and cold showers and even attempts to drown it under a direct stream of water for an hour. True, it was revealed that the first touch of a stream of hot water activates the button. If the flow is not interrupted due to movements or turning off the water, repeated alarms are not observed.

The button also works on a bracelet frozen to −18 °C. Moreover, both after removal from the freezer and directly in it. Reacts to cold and wet fingers.

Results

All Mi Band users agreed that the device needed a screen. Xiaomi engineers did exactly what was asked of them. Now Mi Band is an unattractive bracelet that, if necessary, turns into a fitness gadget. To take or not to take? Definitely take it.

Now the price of Xiaomi Mi Band 2 (where it is actually in stock) reaches $60. This phenomenon is temporary, designed for fans who want to quickly receive the long-awaited gadget. During the summer, its price will probably decrease.

Let us remind you that official sales of the new Mi Band started on June 30. A couple of weeks after this, the devices will appear in store warehouses available to Russian buyers.

Today, mobile technologies have entered the life of almost every person and occupy a leading position in it, if we talk about the frequency of use of certain devices. The modern smartphone has long been no longer positioned as a toy, since its functionality has turned the device into a full-fledged work complex. The developers realized in time how they could make money, and therefore began to create various accessories (bracelets, watches) and gadgets that expand the functionality of already smart mobile phones. Below are detailed instructions for the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 with all the nuances of using the bracelet and the Mi Fit application, through which the device connects and synchronizes with a smartphone.

Equipping and charging the bracelet

In fact, further instructions for the Xiaomi Mi Band are presented in Russian, but naturally it’s worth starting with the unpacking of the product itself. If you purchased an original bracelet and the appearance of the packaging, then you need to start working by charging the device in order to finally confirm its authenticity and prepare it for the first use.

The package must contain the following items:

  • the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 bracelet itself, which is divided into a strap and a tracker inserted into it;
  • USB charging cable.

Rules for using the charger and tracker

For Mi Band, setup is an important step, but you still need to learn how to charge the bracelet correctly. Having unpacked the brand new Band, you need to remove the tracker from the strap, and then insert it into the charger with the contacts inward (as deep as possible, but without effort). The charger must then be inserted into an available USB port on your computer (recommended) or a USB adapter for a standard outlet. Charging time for the bracelet does not exceed two hours.

The tracker's charge level is indicated by three LEDs that blink during charging and glow evenly when the device is fully charged. The standard time for the first charging cycle is about 2 hours. All subsequent charges will take much less time. The tracker needs to be fully charged; you should also avoid non-standard charging methods, since incorrect current supply will cause the device to burn out.

Installing Mi Fit and registering an account

The next step after unpacking the bracelet is to connect it to your smartphone, but this cannot be done without and.

More detailed instructions can be found in an already written article devoted to this issue, but in abbreviated form, the algorithm of actions for the owner of a Mi Band bracelet is quite simple:

  1. The Mi Fit application is installed from the Play Market or App Store.
  2. Registering a Mi account is carried out through a browser using a link or through the application itself.

After registration, the Mi Band 2 can be configured, but to do this you will have to make initial settings in the Mi Fit application, thanks to which the bracelet is tied to the smartphone and data is constantly synchronized.

Initial Mi Fit settings

Now you need to configure the application itself to work with it correctly:

  1. Naturally, first authorization is performed using an existing or just registered login and password.

  1. Then it is necessary for the user to enter his personal data into the application: name (nickname), gender, date of birth, height, weight, the minimum number of steps that are planned to be taken daily.

  1. Immediately after entering the specified data, the bracelet binding menu will open, where you will need to select the device to be connected.

  1. After successful synchronization, Mi Fit will offer to update the bracelet firmware to the latest version. During this process, you do not need to turn off your phone or remove your Mi Band from it. Immediately after the firmware is installed, the application interface will open, which you can start using.

Using Mi Fit and Mi Band

After connecting the Mi Band successfully, you can begin to study the application interface, which has become available to us. The home screen has three tabs: Activity, Notifications, and Profile.

Activity Tab

From the screen of this tab you can go to several functional sections: “Statistics”, “Sleep”, “Weight”, “Achievement Streak”, etc.

In the English version, this tab is called “Status”. From this section you can go to the statics of various actions by clicking on the circle with steps or other sections in the event strip.

"Statistics"

You can get to this section by clicking on the circle with the number of steps, which is located on the “Activity” tab.

Features of working with this section:

  • Swiping left will open the statistics section for the past days;
  • Clicking the Statistics button will open a general summary that can be sorted by day, week, and month.

"Dream"

By going to the “Sleep” section, the user can obtain the following information:

  • Statistics of the sleep session for the previous night, indicating the duration of all phases and moments of awakening;
  • Swiping to the right will allow you to view statistics for earlier sleep sessions;
  • If you click the “Statistics” button in the “Sleep” section, you can group the data by days, weeks, months, etc.

"Weight"

When entering this section, the user observes the following functional elements:

  • Graph of changes in weight indicators;
  • Above the graph is a list of users, which can be adjusted directly from this section (just click on the desired name to go);
  • A specific weight indicator is remembered by clicking on the special “Record weight” button;
  • You can always monitor your body mass index, weight, dynamics, and also evaluate your physique.

"High Streak"

This section is a good incentive for Mi Band 2 owners, since it displays all the goals that were achieved while using the bracelet.

The main indicators are:

"Run"

When launching the “Running” section, the user must activate GPS navigation in advance so that the device finds active satellites. As soon as the optimal number of satellites is displayed in Mi Fit (lights up green), you can press start and go on a distance. While running, basic information about the runner’s condition will be displayed, and if you switch to the “Map” view, you can follow the trajectory of movement. You can stop reading information, for example, when moving to a step, by holding down the “Pause” button.

“Notifications” tab and how it works

On this tab, you can configure configurations for triggering notifications for main events, as well as configure the function of duplicating them on the bracelet.

The list of controlled notifications includes:

  • Challenges. The bracelet will respond to each call after a certain period of time. Also, the enabled blocking function will prevent calls from unfamiliar numbers.
  • Alarm. After setting up, the bracelet will wake up the owner even when the phone is dead or duplicate the signal of the phone itself, which may not be enough to wake the owner from sleep.
  • Messages. It works in a similar way to a bell.
  • Applications. Settings are carried out for each application installed on the phone, and notifications work on the principle of messages.

Screen Unlock feature

By entering this settings menu, the user can:

  • Set up the screen unlocking process in such a way that you only have to swipe the phone with the bracelet and not make unnecessary movements on the screen or fingerprint sensor;
  • Configure Mi Band visibility settings for other devices.

Profile Tab

The last tab, in fact, does not require explanation, because it is already clear that the profile contains all the information about the user of the bracelet and the configuration of this device.

Still, it’s worth saying that in this menu you can:

  • View personal information entered at the stage of setting up and connecting the bracelet to the smartphone;
  • Examine the list of devices connected to the smartphone and their configurations. In the case of the Mi Band, we are talking about the ability to search for the bracelet using the phone (makes it make sounds and blink), change the colors of the LEDs, determine where the device is attached, activate/block notifications;
  • You can also view data about the bracelet’s firmware and unlink it from a specific phone;
  • Even lower are the settings for the bracelet owner’s goals, notifications about collected statistics, and other settings and services.

Other bracelet features

The list of useful features of Mi Band does not end there.

It is worth highlighting the following possibilities:

  • Visual control of achieved goals for the first version of the bracelet. Everything is quite simple: the three indicators that were described above, when the bracelet is in working condition (not charging), are used to measure the level of achievement of goals. To activate this function, you need to make a certain gesture: raise your hand and turn the bracelet towards you, as if you were looking at a watch.

  • Search for a bracelet. This function has already been discussed above, but it is still worth giving specific instructions on how to use it. After following the path “Profile – Devices – Mi Band”, click the corresponding search button.
  • Service "Friends". Your friends and family members who own similar bracelets can become members of the same Mi Band network. Everyone will be able to follow each other's achievements, as well as send welcome notifications to someone else's bracelet.

Operational features of the bracelet

What is worth knowing about features that are not included in the description, but play an important role:

  1. The device is “waterproof,” but that doesn’t mean you can swim in it. The bracelet can be left on in the shower, in the rain or when washing dishes. The device will most likely withstand a short-term immersion to a depth of 1 meter, but it is better not to take risks. Be especially wary of salt water at resorts.
  2. Automatically restore contact with your smartphone. In rare cases, desync may occur due to interference from other devices using Bluetooth wireless technology. When disconnected, the tracker independently continues to try to restore the connection until the next synchronization.
  3. Long operating life without recharging. The average Mi Band 2 user can go without recharging the bracelet for about a month. This time is reduced if the device is constantly synchronized with a smartphone.
  4. Convenient fastening of the case to the strap. There is only a slight risk that the tracker will be squeezed out of the compartment that secures it on the elastic and elastic strap. However, this situation is only possible if there is excessive mechanical pressure on the device.
  5. The real usefulness of the bracelet for the body. Naturally, the device will not remind the owner how much to walk/run, sleep, eat, etc. This is only an auxiliary tool that simplifies the process of achieving optimal conditions of body and spirit.
  6. It is worth mentioning the translation curve, as a result of which you can see the “temperature” parameter; in fact, this is how the calories burned were translated.

Alternative bracelet models

As an alternative version for the reviewed Mi Band 2, we have also written a user manual for Mi Band 1s indicating the main differences of this device.

What you need to know about this bracelet:

  1. It still connects to your phone via Bluetooth wireless technology.
  2. When you use it for the first time, it asks you to charge it, and then it requires this procedure after about a month of use.
  3. For proper operation, you will need to enter your data into Mi Fit, and then, using the detailed guide presented above, connect and configure.

There are not so many differences with the newer (second) version. When considering the Mi Band 1s Pulse, the instructions for it make it clear that this model with the Pulse prefix is aimed specifically at measuring the owner’s heart rate.

Naturally, Mi Band 2 can also do this, but in this modification the pulse is analyzed from different angles:

  • measurements are made using a photoplethysmogram;
  • data is displayed on the display within 15 seconds;
  • The bracelet operates in active (with manual activation) and passive (everyday) mode (2 times per minute).

The disadvantage is that the Xiaomi Mi Band 1s Pulse fitness bracelet will not measure heart rate when the charge drops below 10%.

Bottom line

From all of the above, it is only important to understand that to achieve optimal physical condition and a high level of health, it is not enough to buy a bracelet, enter your parameters and set it up correctly. Regular sports, walks and a consistently active lifestyle are what remains for the owner of the bracelet.

This is a unique accessory for everyone. You can see an overview of the appearance and unboxing in article. New instructions for connecting and setting up Xiaomi Mi Band 1S Pulse (also suitable for the first model Xiaomi Mi Band) you can see .

And in this lesson we would like to tell you what data a bracelet can show in a mobile application and how to set it all up - it’s absolutely not difficult. Preparing for the first launch
To get started, simply charge your tracker from your computer or phone charger - charging time is about 2-3 hours.

The LEDs on the front side of the tracker will inform you of completion.

Mobile application installation
You can’t go anywhere without a branded mobile application - so the first thing we do is download the “Mi Fit” application from our store.

This application is absolutely free and safe. The developer is the manufacturing company Xiaomi.

Preparing the phone itself
There is nothing complicated here - we just turn on bluetooth in the phone settings.

You must activate Bluetooth, but not connect it to any device.

First launch of the application and registration
We go into our application and go through a simple registration process through a mailbox (email) - this is necessary so that you have your own unique account in which all your activity data will be stored. Also, the account allows you to share such statistics via social networks and other channels. Next, enter your parameters (height, weight) and the number of steps you usually take or want to take (we recommend setting the highest value).

After that, we get to the main page - you will have zero values, our pictures already contain data from the tracker that we managed to use.

To synchronize, go to the settings menu, which is located in the upper right corner. Select the "Settings" item.

Select the very first item “Mi Band”. We don’t need all the other points - they are responsible for synchronization with branded scales, which can be purchased separately, as well as social networks within China.

We need the “Pair” item at the very bottom - for us it is shown as “Unpair” since we have already configured our tracker. After this, a quick synchronization process will begin, which will take a couple of minutes, during this process you may have to put your finger on the tracker for calibration.

If you activate it, the bracelet will vibrate and the LEDs will blink.

The "Band light color" function will allow you to change the color of the LEDs. Set your favorite color.

The “Band Location” item is required, since in it you choose which hand you will wear your Xiaomi fitness bracelet on; the correctness of the data it collects depends on this.

The "Vibrate for incoming calls" item is responsible for notification of incoming calls to your phone. It will be activated only when the bracelet is connected to the phone via Bluetooth. You can also set the time after which the bracelet will begin to vibrate and blink, notifying you of an incoming call. You can select a convenient time after which a signal should be sent to the bracelet after the call starts.

And our already familiar “Unpair” item, which serves to connect and completely disconnect the tracker from the phone (it is not recommended to disconnect it only if you have completely replaced the tracker with a new one).

Setting up these items will take you a few minutes, but will greatly increase the accuracy of data reading and expand the capabilities of the tracker.

Setting an alarm
Under the "Settings" item there is a wonderful "Alarm" item - it allows you to manage alarms.

We have three alarm clocks available to us. For each you can set your own time and days of activity.

An important point is the “Early bird alarm” - it is responsible for a “soft awakening”.

This function begins to analyze your condition in even more detail and, half an hour before the main time of awakening, finds the most comfortable moment for getting up - the bracelet begins to vibrate on your hand and you wake up with a “light” head. After all, everyone has experienced how easy it is to wake up, stay in bed for another 5 or 20 minutes and the state will no longer be so cheerful. And the Xiaomi fitness bracelet helps you remain a “cucumber” at any time!

View daily activity
If you click on the circle in the first screen, you will be taken to a report on daily activity for one day.

It shows all your daily activity, broken down into hourly periods. You can track how far you've walked, how much you've run, number of steps, number of kilometers, calories burned, and how long each activity lasted.

If you click on each of the chart columns and hold your finger on it, you will receive information about activity specifically at that hour.

In the upper right corner there is a menu item to access general statistics.

You only need a couple of seconds to understand whether you are following the given regime or not.

View your sleep phase
This screen is accessible by simply swiping your finger to the right from the main page, or by switching to the daily activity menu with the button at the bottom.

In the sleep menu you can track: what time you went to bed that night, what time you woke up, how long light sleep lasted, how long deep sleep lasted, whether you woke up at night, got up and walked this night. Everything is available in the context of visual chart columns - you can click on each of them and get data for each hourly sleep phase.

As in activity mode, you can view the overall statistics for that night using the button in the upper right corner.

It also has all the general information from one night about your sleep.

General statistics for all days
If you return to the main screen, then in the upper left corner there is a button responsible for activity and sleep statistics for the entire period of use of the tracker, broken down into days, weeks, months and even years.

In this menu you can see the growth and decline of activity in visual chart columns. Using the "+" and "-" buttons below, you can drill down into the chart: zoom in to days and zoom out to weeks, months and years.

If you click on the menu button in the upper right corner, you will go to the general data menu for the entire activity time immediately.

If you click on the crescent button below, then, as in the case of activity statistics, you will be taken to the general sleep analysis for the entire time. Here, just like in general daily activity, you can see all the information about your sleep and its “quality” for any period. To control, use the "+" and "-" buttons at the bottom.

If you click on the menu button in the upper right corner, you will go to the general data menu for the entire sleep period at once.

This way, you can easily understand whether you exercised enough, as well as how much sleep you got in any given time period - simple and convenient.

General conclusion
We talked about the main settings and data that can be obtained using this fitness tracker

Hi all. Alexander Glebov is in touch with you. In my next article, I tell you how to set up a xiaomi mi band 1s pulse fitness bracelet, namely how to set up a smart alarm clock. As you know, starting from version Mi Fit 2.X.X.X, the developers turned off the smart alarm function...

Next, we flash the necessary firmware for the xiaomi mi band 1s pulse fitness bracelet, and then install the required version of the Mi Fit application. And now all this is in more detail.

  1. We remove the Mi Fit and Mi Band Notify & Fitness applications.
  2. Next, download the GadjetBridge program version 0.9.4 to your phone - from here. Using it we will flash xiaomi mi band 1s pulse. The file will be named nodomain.freeyourgadget.gadgetbridge_48.apk.
  3. Install GadjetBridge on your phone (don’t forget to enable installation from unknown sources).
  4. Next, we need to download the Mi Fit 1.8.711 application to your computer. From it we will extract the firmware we need for the fitness bracelet. You can download MiFit1.8.711MS.apk.
  5. Open Mi Fit 1.8.711 using winrar or another archiver, go to the assets folder and extract the Mili_hr.fw file from it. Mili_hr.fw- this is the firmware file for Mi Band 1s, if you have a different bracelet, then you need to extract another file - Mili.fw - for a bracelet with colored diodes; Mili_1a.fw - 1A; Mili_hr.fw - 1S. Since I have a Mi Band 1s Puls, I extracted Mili_hr.fw, for your convenience I posted the already extracted file at this link. Send the firmware file to your phone.
  6. Launch GadjetBridge from the notification area. (finger across the screen from top to bottom =))).
  7. In the window that appears, click the three vertical dots in the upper right corner (1), and select “Connect to a new device” (2). (don’t forget to turn on bluetooth) (don’t pay attention if your device is on the main screen).
  8. The search for a new device will start, and after a while it will find your xiaomi mi band 1s fitness bracelet. Click on it with your finger, the settings will open, exit the settings. The main screen will show the status "connected".
  9. After connecting, in any andorid explorer, go to our firmware file Mili_hr.fw (done in step 5), and click on it.
  10. The Gadgetbridge app will open with a warning that the firmware has not been tested and that it is not recommended to install it. But we know all this very well, and we follow these instructions at our own peril and risk. Click "install".
  11. The process of flashing the bracelet will begin. The process is not fast and can take up to 10 minutes. The progress of the firmware can be seen in the notification shade.
  12. After a successful update, the notification shade will display the message “Firmware installation complete”, and the bracelet will unhook from Gadgetbridge - “no connection”. We connect, click on the i in the circle and check that the versions are the same as in the picture.
  13. After checking the version, unlink xiaomi mi band 1s from Gadgetbridge. Long click on your device, a menu will appear, in it select “Disconnect”. And exit Gadgetbridge (three dots in the upper corner, exit).
  14. Now we download the most adequate version of Mi Fit, namely MiFit1.7.521MS++. We install. The link I have is a version without voice - MiFit1.7.521MS++_iqubik_No_Voice_RUN.apk.
  15. After installation, launch Mi Fit (uncheck “Quality Enhancement Program” and click OK, log into your xiaomi account), and link your xiaomi mi band 1s.
  16. Just in case, we check the firmware versions of the bracelet in the Mi Fit application. Firmware version - 4.15.12.10. Heart Rate version is 1.3.74.64.
  17. To more accurately determine sleep phases, turn on heart rate monitoring (highlighted in the picture above).
  18. We enable the smart alarm clock in the alarm settings. Function: early awakening.
  19. At this point, the settings for the smart alarm clock are completed, but in order not to lose them, you must follow the recommendations.

    Recommendations for using the xiaomi mi band 1s pulse smart alarm clock

  • Never update the Mi Fit app;
  • never update the firmware of xiaomi mi band 1s;
  • wear the xiaomi mi band 1s pulse fitness bracelet on your non-dominant hand;
  • It is better not to go to the bathhouse or bath with him.

Like that. Let me clarify once again, if the play market offers to update Mi Fit, refuse. If, when launching the Mi Fit application, it wants to update or update the bracelet firmware, refuse. These points are very important.
